"On
a cold winter's morning on January 8th 1955, a regular scheduled train left the small town
of Malesbury for its usual run in to York at 6.42 AM. It carried a driver, a
guard and just seven passengers; it was only two carriages long. But after
travelling just twenty miles, the train stopped [unscheduled] in the beautiful York winter countryside. When it failed to appear at York Station British transport Police were dispatched to the remote scene
and found the train completely abandoned: everyone on board had simply
vanished! Jericho and Team 74 were quickly on the case...."
