"THE OTHER DYATLOY PASS INCIDENT."

“Nearly everyone knows about the 1959 incident at Kholat Syakhi in the northern Ural Mountains, in then, Soviet Russia. It has become known as the ‘Dyatloy Pass Incident.’ But few know about the strange incident in 1939 just thirty miles from that tragic place. Four members of a Geology Expedition simply vanished from their campsite and despite a huge search; no trace of them was ever discovered.
