"UB-44 AND THE BATTLE FOR ATLANTIS."


Episode summary: 

"In late summer 1916, the Imperial German Submarine U-44 is on patrol in the warm Mediterranean looking for allied shipping to attack. But whilst on the surface one warm afternoon the Conning Tower crew report to Captain Franz Wager that an unknown object has fallen from the sky. It had gone into the sea about twenty Kilometres from the submarine. He orders the boat to investigate and that brings Jericho Tibbs on the scene."

[2] This story is based – in part – on a true incident. SM UB-44 was a Type UB II submarine or U-boat for the German Imperial Navy (GermanKaiserliche Marine) during World War I. UB-44 operated in the Mediterranean and completely disappeared in August 1916.
