“In
winter 1917, Senior Archaeologist Caleb McAlister had been tasked to look after
the ancient tombs at El-Sharma in southern Egypt. His task is not an easy one;
the First World War is in full swing and there’s fighting in the deserts
between the Turkish and Allied forces. But his native diggers bring news of a
new tomb discovered in the desert with strange wall paintings and so he [and
his assistants] head out to the discovery. It also brings Jericho Tibbs on
scene.”
